Thousands of artists produce a sketchbook on a given theme and then those sketchbooks will be exhibited at galleries and museums across various American cities. After the tour, the sketchbooks will be available for the public to view at The Brooklyn Art Library.

I thought I'd start with a quick hello and a brief introduction.

My name is Amanda Dilworth and I work as a freelance designer. My studio is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, from which I draw a great deal of inspiration for my work.

I produce Illustration and Surface Pattern design for licensing in the advertising, editorial and publishing markets and for a broad range of products. These include textiles, apparel, home decor, wallpaper, ceramics, greetings cards and gift wrap.

In the meantime I'd like to share some sneak previews of my work and would welcome any comments you may have. I hope by writing my blog I can provide updated, fresh information on the designs that I am producing and participate in the exciting online design community.
