When I clicked on here I saw just the fireworks part of the piece,,,then I scrolled down and omg...I smiled from ear to ear....I love this!!! Sweet that the mice can ring in the New Year together:) Happy New Year Amanda!!
I love your feline fireworks piece...great idea! I'm catching up on weeks of missed blog visits, and you've had some beautiful work. I love your rooster for "vanity", and the zippered heart for "separated" is poignant and lovely. I missed too many weeks; I intend to do better this year. Happy New Year!
Found your blog via print and pattern and I must say I love your work! Wasn't looking for a new skin to my iphone but I must say that I might have to buy the busy bee! So beautiful! Love K
Very pretty, Amanda, and cute too. How do you make these lovely illustrations? The black branches are beautiful and the two woolly, furry rats or mice are totally cute. I wish I could hear their dialogue. :-) Paula

How sweet! I love the texture of the mouse: such I nice, soft contrast to the harder color in the sky.

ReplyDeleteCuties! But the view from the window is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Happy art for 2012 :) Let's hope the whole year is a celebration!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet and I love the composition, especially how the L-shape of the frame leads you down to the two mice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet illustration. Happy New Year Amanda. (Sorry I'm a bit late!)
