Looking forward to being able to share with you some of the food illustration commissions I have been working on. Unfortunately not able to share that news just yet though. Right now I am working on a series of comfort food illustrations. The first one is one of my go to comfort favourites, a big bowl of ramen!! Would love to hear what your comfort food favs are?
The 2nd in the series is a Full English, fry-up. I find this is a great protein fix and sets me up for the day. I also like to refuel with one of these after a heavy session at the gym. Hope you enjoy the work in progress shots.
Lot's of new work to share with you and my new website will be live in the next couple of weeks, stay tuned!!! :) Some WIP of the lovely free range chickens from a local farm shop. Love buying my free range eggs from happy hens.
Bee numbers are in serious decline.Faced by loss of natural habitat, disease and pesticides our bees could use some help.
They play an extremely important role in our ecosystem as vital pollinators to our food crops.
Bees rely on pollen and nectar from flowers for survival. One way we can help is to create bee-friendly pesticide free gardens or planters/pots. Plant more nectar rich flowers that bloom throughout the year and help feed our fuzzy friends.
If you are interested in finding out more about just how important bees are and how you can help them, check out these great articles on ideas to encourage visits from the bees.

I love the heady smell of wild garlic. Definitely going to do some foraging, so I have been looking for some recipe inspiration. This is a great article by Countryfile The wild garlic, potato and chorizo tortilla looks amazing!
Colourful plates of food don't just look amazing, different coloured foods contain different nutrients. Variety in a healthy diet is so important and also keeps life interesting! An article on eating the rainbow by the British Heart Foundation explains some of the nutritional properties found in fruits and vegetables of different colours. Personally, I am always looking to find interesting ways to eat more fruit and veg and love to try out new recipes. I save all my recipe inspiration on my Pinterest board here
