Heights

This weeks Illustration Friday topic made me think about aiming high and positivity and my sunflower has managed to reach new heights!

  5. I'll say! It's so high that it doesn't all fit on my screen. So I've been scrolling between the top and the bottom, and I really really like each of the pieces--the huge eye-like luminosity of the big flower, and the wonderful textured clouds and birds around it, and then the flock of sunflowers below, and great great textures of the ground/stem/flowers. I don't know how it all looks together, but I really really like those two parts. Beautiful!

  7. OH! What a gorgeous sunflower. I almost bought a bunch today...I really should have, but this beautiful illustration will do just fine! What wonderful textures and a very sunshiny lightness this gives me, Amanda. I so very much enjoy your wonderful work.
